About

Hello. I am Bryan and I am a graphic designer.

Armed with my glamorous BFA Visual Communications from Nanyang Technological University’s
School of Art, Design and Media and diploma in multimedia from Singapore Polytechnic, I am poised to
take on print and web projects.

I love a good idea (and good tea), and I try to infuse one in all my projects. My design process begins with investigation: to discover and understand the nuances of the subject matter. Then considering the symbiotic relationship of form and function, my designs embellishes the research. I believe that I am chronically OCD;
grids and the golden ratio is my life support.

I abhor cities. In my past life, I think I was a farmer in a rural somewhere. Traveling is my muse.

Manifesto

Behold, the gift of creativity is the power to do good.

To me, design is all about solving problems—not merely visual ones. Design has the incredible potential to be a catalyst of change: to solve social problems, promote equality and encourage diversity.

When I am not busting my ass to earn a living, I try to work on social design projects that can possibly help improve lives of the marginalised and under-represented. As a life-long student of world cultures, I like working on projects that promote them, especially those that are quickly fading away in the homogenised and globalised world.
