VIS350 Graphic Design IV “Systems” Project, 2010

With systems as a theme for the project, I was searching for something that could represent the universe and the world we live in in a more metaphysical and abstract manner. The Buddhist philosophy and their conception of the world through the mandalas—in particular, the Tibetan mandalas— inspired me the most. With the ideas I gain through a short investigative study, I applied the visual language and key concepts of the mandala to present my personal universe.
